The NSS Special camp of our Polytechnic College was held at Panchayat Union Primary School in Parasalur, Sembanarkovil from 23/03/22 to 29/03/22. The camp was inaugurated by Justice K. Venkataraman, Administrator of A.V.C. Educational Institutions. This was followed by the presidential address of The Principal Dr. S. Kannan. The first day of the camp was started by Planting the Trees. In the afternoon session drawing practice was given to the students by the Chief Guest Mr. A. Eruthayaraj, Government Higher Secondary School Therizandhur.

On the second day (24/03/22), Art of Living program was conducted by The Chief Guest Mrs. Kalaiselvi Chandramohan, Art of Living teacher, Mayiladuthurai. In the afternoon session, Medical camp was conducted by Dr. S. Sabeetha, MBBS, MD., Mayiladuthurai.

On the third day (25/03/22) of forenoon session Plastic Eradication Awareness Rally was directed by Mr. S. Ramesh, Panchayat Union Primary School. In the afternoon session Mrs. R. Selvi, Inspector of Police, Sembanarkovil presented speech on Road Safety Awareness program.

On fourth day (26/03/22) of forenoon session Handcraft Vocational Training for rural women was conducted by Mrs. M. Latha, Tailor. In the afternoon session Dr. S. Jayakumar, Assistant Professor of A.V.C. College (Auto) gave the speech on Role of Youth in Environmental Conservation.

On the fifth day (27/03/22) of forenoon session, the NSS Student cleaned the school campus. In the afternoon session Hr. D. Selvamuthukumaran, Acupuncture specialist, Mayiladuthurai was invited and he gave a speech on How to Develop Immunity among students.

On the sixth day (28/03/22) cleaning process were taken in Temple and Church by our NSS students. In the afternoon session NSS students conducted some games to the School students.

The camp was ended on (29/03/22), Dr. M. Senthilmurugan, The Director of A.V.C. College of Engineering was the Chief Guest of the day. The valedictory function presided over by Dr. S. Kannan, Principal of A.V.C. Polytechnic College. The occasion was greeted by our Director Mr. A. Valavan. Villagers of Parasalur, Headmaster, Teachers, NSS Volunteers and Students of the school also participated in the valedictory function. NSS Student and the School Teacher Mr. S. Ramesh gave their feedback.
