The Civil department started in the year 1983 – 84 with an intake of 60 students + 20% of intake through lateral entry. The intake was increased to 120 from the year 2012-13 + 20% of intake through lateral entry students. So, far 28 batches have passed out. Well experienced and knowledgeable staff. We have 13 faculty members (HOD, 1-Senior lecturer, 8-lecturers, 1-Draftsman and 3-Lab assistants). Contribution of the Department: Prepare plan and estimation for the civil works in the campus involving students.

Well qualified, Experienced and dedicated teaching faculties of the department lay the foundation for the academic performance and social activities of the students. Most of the faculties have completed their post graduation in Engineering and having above 5 years working experience. Faculties are continuously upgrading themselves and enri.ching their knowledge by attending various faculty development programmes. Regularly they are publishing papers in International Journals and Conferences to expose their technical knowledge to the globe. Major Lab Facilities:-
