The NSS camp was inaugurated by Mr.M.Rajasekaran, Member, BOM,A.V.C.Institutions, by lighting the lamp. This was followed by the address of the Principal Mr.M.Amirthaganesan and Mrs.R.Amutha Ramamoorthy, President of Village Panchayath, Mannakudi. The first day of the camp was started by cleaning the school campus.

On the second day (02/03/2016), eye camp was conducted. Ophthalmologist Dr.V.Arulmani suggested about the cataract problems and checked the eyesight deficiencies for the school students. In the afternoon session, Dr. G.V. Pandiyan, district lecturer in St. Johns ambulance, Nagapattinam, gave the awareness about firstaid and disaster management.

On the third day (03/03/2016), blood test camp was conducted to find out the blood group for the school children and Manakudi villagers. In the afternoon session, an awareness speech on AIDS was presented by the former president of Youth Red Cross, Mrs.V.ManjaniKoother.

On the fourth day (04/03/2016), the school campus cleaning and painting and tree plantation were done by the NSS Students. In the afternoon session, school children participated in the speech competition on ABDULKALAM BIOGRAPHY and Sports events were also conducted.

On the fifth day (05/03/2016), Dr. S. Rajasimhan B.D.S was invited and he gave a speech on dental care and also medical checkup was done for the benefit of school students, NSS students and Manakudi villagers. In the afternoon session, the NSS student cleaned the temple and tree plantation was done in the temple. The necessity of plastic free environment was insisted. And also awareness speech was given on voting, a democratic responsibility.

On the sixth day (06/03/16), a debate was done on “The future of the youth education”. Mr. S. Pasupathi Raja,Lecturer/ECE was the moderator. In the afternoon session, a speech was given on the topic of Time Management by Mr. S.Rajendran, HOD/S&H cum Training and Placement Officer of our College.

The camp came to an end on 07/03/2016. The valedictory function was presided over by Mr.K. Karthikayan, Secretary, A.V.C. Institutions. Mr.G.Magesh, Member, BOM, A.V.C. Institutions was the guest of honor of the program. The prizes were distributed the school students for the participation in various events. Villagers of Manakudi, Headmaster, teachers and students of the school also participated in the valedictory function. Students and Manakudi villagers gave their feedback.
