The A.V.C.Polytechnic College has a full-fledged Training and Placement Cell to look after its placement activities. The Training and Placement Cell provides the official support base for employment of the students with the following Objectives:

1. To provide at least a single job opening for each eligible student.
2. To identify at least two new companies per department every year.
3. To make five percent increase in overall placement every year.
4. To guide students on various interview techniques, group discussions, aptitude tests.
5. To put A.V.C. Polytechnic College on the 'Must' list of all zenith companies.

Training & Placement Cell is established with a view to encourage the students to build up their soft skills for accomplishing success in all walks of their life. The Training & Placement Cell is working under the able guidance of Jc.S.Rajendran, Zonal Trainer JCI-India, Training and Placement Officer of the college to fulfill the Mission & Vision of the Institution. The Training & Placement Cell is assisted by a staff member from each Department. The Training & Placement Cell of the college is a forum for 'Industry-Institute Interaction'. The support services offered are,

Training:

Encouraging the students to actively participate in the Personality Development Club activities. Inspiring students to give a fear-free public talk on the stage. Arranging Expert Lectures and distinguished personalities from the Industries & ither Institutions as per resource persons. Organizing workshops on Personality Development for the students. Training students in aptitude tests, interview techniques, group discussions.

Placement:

1. Arranging In-Campus Interviews
2. Arranging Off-Campus Interviews

The Training and Placement Cell works for the whole year interacting with Human Resource Departments of the various esteemed organizations so as to invite them to our college for recruiting the future of the company. The interviewing teams that visit us for campus recruitment have consistently rated our students very high as regards to their technical knowledge.

The Institute has an in-built LCD-Projector-equipped Seminar Hall for holding Pre-Placement Talks, Written Test, Group Discussions. The Training & Placement Cell under the guidance for Training and Placement Officer achieved the milestone pertaining to 85% recruitments of Diploma Engg. Student who are placed in most reputed National and Multinational Companies across India.
