The NSS special for the year 2012-2013 was held from 17/02/2013 to 23/02/2013 at mannakudi at kanchanagaram. The camp was formally inagurated by the secretary Thiru.C.SENTHILVEL in the presence of Mrs.R.AMUTHURAMAMOORTHY,president mannakudi and the principal Mr.A.VALAVAN with 86 Nss volunteers participated in the camp.

The volunteers cleaned up the mannakudi school and temple on18/02/2013. In the evening “after noon session” free veterinary camp was organized Dr.M.SARAVANAN and K.BOOMATHI gave free treatment to 180 cattle.

19/02/2013 - Dr.V.ARULMANI give free treatment to eye checkup 180 villagers are benifited in that evening Dr.R.RAJANBABU spoke on “AALUMAI PANPUKAL” inspiring the students.

20/02/2013 - Tmt.M.LATHA to give training for unemployed handicraft and jailoring to promote entreprenurship.In the afternoon session free dental checkup Dr.M.RAJASIMHAN,B.D.S to give dental check up for villages , students and volunteers.

21/02/2013 - Dr.M.PANNERSELVAM gave free medical treatment to 150 villagers in the “free siddha medical camp” in evening Thiru.M.AMIRTHAGANESAN spoke on “Vanam Thotu Vedum Thuram Thaan” to students.

22/02/2013 - Thiru M.NALLAMALAI spoke on the topic “NSS Kurikollum Valarchium” to the students. In the evening session Drs.VIJAYAKUMARI spoke on “ BODY HEALTH” to women students.

The camp came to an end on 23/02/2013.The valedictory function was presided over by the principal Thiru A.VALAVAN,Thiru J.MANIKANDAN delivered the valedictory address villagers also participate in the valedictory function and gave their feedback.
