The library is user friendly unique with excellent ambience occupying an area of 6137 sq.ft. The library is a resource center for all educational needs of our students mainly hailing from a rural environ. Departmental libraries also are created in all departments.

Working hours:

Regular timings: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
After Hours timings: 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm

The library is fully automated and users are provided with digital bar-coded ID card for all transactions. Using the Identity Card, the users make their entry in the computer and uses Periodical section, for taking Xerox, borrowing books and general reading and also for having access to the reference books in the Reading Hall.

The Library is having a good collection of books as on April 2015.

LRUC Section:

In this section, Educational CDs, Charts, Drawing Models in multicolor, Hand Books, Data Books, Project reports, etc., are fulfilled for Learning Resource utilization.

Periodical Section:

The Periodical section contains 2 divisions : one for staff and another for students. About 40 magazines and 30 journals are subscribed.

Back Volume Section:

This is separately maintaining for old journals in a room for reference.

Technical Section:

A room is equipped with binding materials for service.

Group Discussion:

A separate room is furnished with furniture and new arrivals for group discussion for staff and students.

Internet Section:

Computer system are provided for internet browsing.

Question Bank:

27 years of Board exam question papers in all branches are bounded and kept for reference.

Students Project Report:

10 years students’ project reports are displayed and their CDs are also available for reference.

Audio-Video Section:

This section contains one color television with 36” and a DVD Player. 90 educational CDs are available in all branches. At a time 50 students can accommodate the area in a separate room.

Reprography Section:

Students are allowed to take Xerox copies and printouts on cost basis of Rs.0.75 and Rs.1.00 respectively.

Reading Hall:

This area is equipped with well furnished table and chairs to accommodate 60 students at a time, separately for Boys and Girls.
