The Department of Electronics and Communication is blossomed in the year of 2000-2001 with the intake of 60 students. The department offers three year diploma program in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The ECE Department of AVC Polytechnic College strives to achieve excellence in teaching-learning process. Well-equipped laboratories aid the students to acquire flourish in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. To enrich the student’s knowledge, they are encouraged to present papers at state level symposiums.

Besides the academic activities, the students are motivated to take part in social activities and sports to make them multifaceted personalities. 50% of our students pursue higher studies. Many of our students are well placed in reputed companies through in-campus and off-campus interviews.

Electronics and Communication Engineering department is dedicated to deliver high Quality technical Education to the students. The department of ECE has 6 dedicated and qualified staff members and also 2 non-teaching staff member. Regularly seminars, Guest Lectures and Industrial visit are organized to our students to acquire knowledge about the growth of technology in electronics and communication engineering field.

Students are engaged in In-plant Training during their summer and winter vacations in industries like BSNL Telephone Exchange, All India Radio Station, and Doordharshan Relay Centre. The faculty members of Electronics and Communication Engineering department are giving counseling to the students and address the problems faced by the students in academic, general and personal aspects. They motivate the students in all aspects and involved in molding them to face and cater the needs of the industry. The faculty members of Electronics and Communication Engineering department are committed towards the students, involved in taking remedial classes for the slow learners.
